John moved to beautiful Nova Scotia in 2000 after working in the Toronto film industry for much of the 1990's. Fulfilling his dream of running a Bed and Breakfast, he and his partner Helen found The Millstones Bed and Breakfast and the wonderful community of Shelburne. After three years of making breakfast and with the arrival their first child Sam it was time for a change. Their second son, Max was born in 2007.
In 2003, John and Helen started Sandy Lane Vacation Rentals & Property Management, catering to the needs of vacation homeowners in the Shelburne and Liverpool area. From rentals to renovations; their business includes anything to do with owning and operating a vacation home. In 2008, after 6 years of close working relationships John decided to join the Claussen Walters' team.
John brings a wealth of experience with the local housing market; whether it 's crawling around in cellars or researching the history of the house, John loves figuring out how each home works and finding that unique property that fits his client's wish list.
