Bettina Grunwald, REALTORŪ
Bettina's experience in Real Estate began with her studies of the History of Architecture at the University of Alberta. She then pursued an Interdisciplinary Program at the Alberta College of Art and Design - sister school to NSCAD. While still a full-time student, renovations on her own homes led to the purchase of a heritage house in Calgary.
She participated at a high level in the professional art community, including her election as president of one of Calgary's premier galleries. She sat on various committees and had numerous public speaking engagements, solo exhibitions and reviews in national Art and Architecture festivals and magazines.
Further growth occurred when Bettina focused on a sales career, as a computer equipment salesperson for a Multinational electronics company. A love for innovation and negotiation made Bettina evaluate her options. In 1997 she and her husband, Scott Gouthro, decided the timing was right to invest in Nova Scotia.
Here Bettina took Realtor courses, seminars, and joined the Rotary Club of which she was President in 2005.
In 2006 Bettina earned her Associate Broker's license and joined Claussen Walters just as they were opening the Bridgewater office, enticed with the growth potential of this innovative and family positive company.
She looks forward to building quality relationships with her broad range of customers, their two wonderful children and our engaging community.
