A country girl at heart, Madelyn was raised on a farm in the hills of Scarsdale in a family of 10 children where nature was always an important part of life.

Having lived most of her life inland, surrounded by fields, forests and lakes and now living along the shore with all it's magic has led to a fuller appreciation of all the beauty Nova Scotia has to offer.

Madelyn resides in Riverport with her husband - John, two children - Camille & Ben, and 2 canine friends, Polly & Tessa.

Spending time with family and engaging in activities associated with the great outdoors are high on her priority list. Whether it be walking through the woods, sailing the seas, or biking a trail - these are the things which bring enjoyment to life.

One of Madelyn's previous occupations was in the marketing of boats which she views as similar to the marketing of properties. Each being unique in their own special way and possessing their own blend of character.
